About the event
September is National Disaster Preparedness Month! Join in s FEMA Emergency Preparedness workshop at to better protect our villages! Each family will recieve a workbook and Ready2Help activity as we learn how to:
- Choose a place right outside your home in case of a sudden emergency, like a fire.
- Choose a location outside your neighborhood in case you can't return home.
- Complete a Family Communication Plan. Your plan should include contact information for family members, work and school.

With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that Our Loving Village experienced a total loss structure fire on 7/17/2023 at 5:43 pm and will be closed until we are able to recover. Mrs. BB and her children lived here as their main residence as they were renovating the building towards a 111 kid center using the Texas Childcare Expansion Grant. We are blessed to report no other children/staff were in attendance during this time. We know this will affect many families who relied on us and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish you well as we all band together to be the village that it takes to raise a child! Please consider donating to Our Loving Village.
