As community leaders in early childhood care and education, we want to stay engaged with the needs of the community. One question on our minds is -- What does childcare mean to you?
For many parents it means many different things. For some stay-at-home parents, childcare is a way to get some much needed adult-time to get things done around the house, run errands or make time for self-care. For working parents, childcare maybe children opportunities to be around other children in a developmentally and appopriate environment while being nurtured by a qualified childcare professional.
